than to have all of the money in the world and work against the wealth producers. He believes that God intends to stand by the people and show them how to get rid of the financial swindlers.
 But as bad as the financiers are, their touts are worse.
 Those big financiers, with whom I associated for twenty-five years, used to call their touts filthy vermin. They would say to me, “Lawson, those vile creatures who sell out their own people sell us out, too, whenever they get a chance. All our competitors have to do, to buy the touts and have them sell us out is to offer them two bones to chew upon instead of the one that we give them.” So they despise their own touts, who do their dirty work for them.
 Why do the financiers of the democratic countries all over the world get down on their knees and kowtow to the financiers who have put in their own dictators in their autocratic countries?
 It is because they want to play safe and wait until they have established their own dictators in the so-called democratic countries before they enter into a war. They will then feel sure that they can make a fight to their last working man, the same as the financiers in the autocratic countries.
 So the people better learn what the intentions are of the financiers before they have turned the trick and it is too late for the people to do anything about it. It is my job to warn the people and show them how they can avoid a dictatorship here in America.
 When I organized the Direct Credits So­ci­e­ty in 1931, there were about twenty different international financiers in America, but today there are only six, big, international financiers in this country. You know, they are wolves, and when a wolf can’t get another animal to eat, he swallows another wolf. So these financial wolves are now eating themselves, and they have put out of business in the last few years about fourteen of their big competitors.
 These big six financiers have also wiped out almost all of the American bankers, of whom they have made choreboys. Yes, they have put out of existence over five thousand different banks here in America during the last few years.
 Of course, the Direct Credits Society has nothing against bankers. Under Direct Cre­dits rules there will be banks, but the bankers will take their orders from the United States Government instead of from the international financiers. Such bankers are going to be able to sleep nights without seeing a picture of starving babies and weeping widows in their nightly dreams.
 The kind of a banker that will be in existence under Direct Credits rules will work for the people and take their orders from the people’s government.
