wants you to prove that you have good stuff in you.
 So He lets you go hungry occasionally. He puts obstacles in your path to try you out. If you look at those obstacles and say, “I can’t get over them,” and you run away from them, He says, “Poor timber. I don’t want him.”
 But if you say, “Obstacles! Come on, OB­STA­CLES, the more the better. Come on, I’ll knock your blocks off,” then the Creator will pat you on the back. You may not feel it, but He pats your spinal column, where you need it the most. He then says, “Good stuff. There’s something in you.” So He helps you to go on and do what is right. And He lets those who do what is wrong commit suicide.
 Several thousand millionaires committed suicide since the international financiers got control of the American banks. The Creator may have sent the devil to urge them to go to it.
 There are thousands of millionaires in this country today who are going to commit suicide unless they turn over a new leaf; unless they get into an honest game; and God Almighty is going to allow them to do it.
 Now, you millionaires; if there are any of you here—I suppose most of you are out hooking fish today—but if there is just one, little peewee millionaire in this auditorium now, let me tell you, the international financier is going to take your million.
 Have you an insane idea that you can keep your million when the people of the U.S.A., including yourself, owe the financiers an interest bearing indebtedness of more than Three Hundred Billion Dollars?
 You say, “My property is all paid for.”
 That doesn’t mean anything. They can tax you out of any property to pay back interest that the people of the United States owe to them. They can tax you out of any propery that any of you people have, whether it is worth a hundred dollars or a million dollars. They can tax it and take it away from you to pay what the people of the United States owe in back interest! So your property doesn’t mean anything. They can take it away from you tomorrow if they want to, but they intend to strangle you to death slowly. They say, “Give him a slow dose.”
 Now, are Direct Credits Laws going to take your property away from you? Of course not.
 Direct Credits Society rules are based upon God’s natural laws.
 God doesn’t do anything dishonest. It is only man who does dishonest acts.
 So as we work according to natural laws, we don’t intend to take away property from anybody no matter how much or how little you have.
 But while you may keep your own property according to Direct Credits Laws, we are not going to let you cheat other people out of their properties by making them pay tribute on money that doesn’t belong to you.
 If you’ve built a factory or business and paid for it, that belongs to you and we are going to let you make a profit from it. You manufacturers and merchants wouldn’t work if we didn’t let you make a profit. So we are going to let you work for the people who make
