Direct Credits Society and establish the Law­son Plan to Abolish Interest and give a purchasing power to everybody equal to their productive power. That is their only hope. All other suggestions are inspired by the touts of the financiers.
 The Direct Credits Society stands for Amer­i­ca, its people, its flag and its form of Government. It stands for Democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of radio, freedom of assembly, freedom of schools and colleges and religions and politics and the right for every one to work that wants to work at sufficient remuneration to be able to live honestly and decently.
 Yes, that is what I stand for and before I will let that Dictator at the grave cover up our good friend Democracy he will have to bury me first — and I won’t lie quietly down and let him do it either.
 The financiers fear nobody but Lawson. They say, “He can be a Billionaire if he will come with us, but he doesn’t want money or property and we can’t buy him!”
 Yes, the financiers know me for I spent twenty-five years in business transactions with them. They were of all sizes, shapes and figures. They were mastodons, second story men and peewees that I came in contact with. I learned their tricks. I know them better than they know themselves because I study them. They haven’t enough intelligence to study themselves. It gives one the horrors to look at them.
 If there is anything as bad as financiers in the next world, I don’t want to go there. The devil himself will probably refuse them admittance. They would try to steal Hell if they once got a foot-hold there.
 Now, they are a bad bunch. Their faces show it. The next time you see one, take a good look at him. If convenient use a microscope and look at those little lines in his face.
 Nature shows one’s character in the face which is made up of billions of microscopic muscles that are connected with the brain, and by the way one thinks, those muscles move and thereby create a facial expression that won’t wash off.
 So when you think of stealing the widow’s home after her husband has passed away, and you take her property and put the little children out on the streets, you build a face that looks like the devil. And if you get into the habit of thinking that way you will develop a horrible expression. Your own people will get so they won’t like to look at you. Your own child will say, “My goodness, I hope I will never look like father or mother.” Your children will fear you and hope that you will die soon — especially if you have property.
 I never knew a rich man’s son who didn’t want his father who controlled the loot, to die as soon as possible.
