which they actually have in their pockets, then it is not hard for anyone to understand that four-fifths of everything that everybody earns goes to the financiers through the In­ter­est Collecting Swindle.
 The politicians can stop that big swindle if they will. But in order to do so they must have the backing of the people themselves and that is where the Direct Credits So­ci­e­ty’s good work comes in. We are educating the people to the Truth in reference to Eco­no­mics in general and Finance in particular.
 The Direct Credits Society intends to bring the politicians and the people together with an honest financial plan.
 Politicians everywhere are beginning to realize that to get together with the people is their only hope and are pledging themselves to stand for the Lawson Money System just as soon as the people themselves have been taught to understand it and demand it.
 Under the American form of government the people still have the power to operate their own money system and at any time can demand the Lawson Money System which does away with the Interest Col­lect­ing Swindle and gives to every­body five-fifths of everything they earn instead of one-fifth of everything earned according to the fi­nan­cier’s scheme.
 Not only will the Lawson Money System give to the laboring classes five-fifths of everything they earn but it will also give to newspaper men, manufacturers, merchants, farmers, policemen, politicians and all professionals of every nature whatsoever, fivefifths of everything they earn instead of one-fifth as nowadays.
 So, just as manufacturers, merchants, farmers, professionals and all classes of laboring people are now joining the Direct Cre­dits Society by the millions, so it behooves the politicians to also stand with the people as a whole instead of being used as cat’s paws by the financiers who are preparing to do away with the American form of government and put in a blood-thirsty dictator in its place, thus not only quadrupling the cross of the people, but also the politicians as well.
 It must be understood that the Direct Credits Society only acts in an advisory capacity.
 Direct Credits Officers are Economic Scho­lars who work without pay for the common good. Our rules do not permit them to accept political positions.
 Article 43 from General Orders of the Di­rect Credits Society says:
 “Politicians cannot act as officers. Those holding political offices or running for political offices or electioneering for those running for political offices or those working for political parties are considered as politicians and cannot act as officers in the Direct Credits Society.
 “The Direct Credits Society is an ECO­NO­MIC ORGANIZATION and is in no way interested in or affiliated with any Political Party. Nor is it interested in any of the Planks of any Political Party except the ECONOMIC PLANK, The Direct Credits So-
