ANOTHER DIRECT CREDITS OFFICER: Then if you elect Congressmen to do that work why don’t you see that they do it right? Can’t you understand that your American Citizenship demands that you see that the right Congressmen are elected to make laws with equal justice within them to protect the rights of everybody alike?
 ANOTHER DIRECT CREDITS OFFICER: If you would make an effort to learn the basic cause of your economic troubles and then choose the plan to remedy them by electing to office Congressmen who will make laws for all of the people instead of a few gluttonous financiers who force them to do their bidding, you would then be doing your duty as a good American Citizen and not otherwise.
 ANOTHER DIRECT CREDITS OFFICER: The people as a whole are the United States of America—Uncle Sam is only a symbol of what they make of it. The people can force their elected Congressmen to make laws that will give JUSTICE to EVERYBODY THAT WILL HARM NOBODY if they understand the LAWSON PROGRAM and stand together and vote solidly for it.
 PESSIMIST: Perhaps you are right, but I have never considered the matter from that viewpoint.
 LIBERTY: You want liberty. Well, here I am as a symbol. I was adopted as such upon the 100th anniversary of American Indepen­dence: But through the self complacency and vice saturated, selfish and careless people as a whole, my torch of enlightenment has gradually grown dimmer and dimmer. The despotic financiers, who prefer a Dictator form of Government to the Free American Government through their controlled press, radio and paid college professors, have been instrumental in almost wiping me out of existence altogether in the minds of the people at large.
 JUSTICE: Our forefathers who left the Dictator infested Eastern Hemisphere and established the Free American Government in the Western Hemisphere adopted a Constitution in which Congress was authorized to regulate the money system for the benefit of the people. But the careless people have permitted a few financial gluttons to get control of their money system through which, by tribute, in the shape of INTEREST, they have gradually confiscated the largest part of the wealth of this country and are now collecting the enormous sum of Twenty Billion Dollars annually from the people by this Interest Collecting Swindle.
