Mentality

AUTHOR’S PREFACE

Man must now prepare for another step forward in his continuous march toward a higher state of intelligence.

This next step will increase the height, depth and breadth of his consciousness and will take several thousand years to complete.

During the interim the mind of man will outgrow his present narrow surroundings and he will explore fields beyond his present scope, sphere and density. He will actually outgrow his five usable senses and utilize penetrating powers such as he never dreamed of before.

As man’s mind expands with the new order of things the earth, solar system and universe will shrink within his gaze.

He will develop his perspective of life with a shifting sight that will go up and down the scale and bring to view objects of different scope and density. He will see the atom as he now sees the solar system and vice versa.

For such powers he will have to develop new functions within himself to be able to discern the greater essentials of life.

Man will soon realize that his mind must be fed with sustaining substances as well as his stomach. To feed them both is essential. To neglect either is destructive.

They must both be fed judiciously and exercised and rested alternately to keep them in a state of efficiency.

The time will come when man will be able to navigate the cosmic oceans with as great ease and precision as he now navigates the oceans of water and air.

But to understand such things one’s consciousness must be enlarged through greater scope.

When I look into the vastness of space and see the marvelous workings of its contents and ponder over the great opportunities for man’s intellectual advancement I sometimes think that I was born ten or twenty thousand years ahead of time.

The lack of understanding of the purpose in life which I observe among creatures everywhere makes it appear as if mental advancement is impossible for the human race during my time.

But then I realize that the Creator makes no mistakes, is in no hurry and that He invariably sends a lone precursor to point the way to advanced stages long before it is possible for the masses to get there.

Still, even during this momentary stay of mine within this sphere, I have noticed that people pick up bits of the advanced information that I promulgate and in some instances, after many years of percolation, they are able to grasp the whole of it.

First they scoff, then they copy and finally they claim that they knew it all the time.

That of course could be overlooked if they copied my teachings as they are, but in most cases they not only steal my products but they adulterate them with their own senseless notions.

Ever since the publication of my first book, BORN AGAIN, in 1904, the so-called wise ones have helped themselves freely of my original presentations. They twisted them into their own words, and used them for gain, even though they are protected by Copyrights.

It also seems that no corporation is too big to use my inventions for their own gain, without asking my consent-though they are protected by Patents.

If the “wise ones” and the heads of big corporations stoop to such thieving methods what can be expected of the masses who get their miseducation from those at the top who are in power?

As the head thinks so the tail wags.

So to stop the surreptitious wagging of the tail, those pretentious frauds at the head of man’s social and economic life must be shorn of their power to lead the people down hill through blind alleys and into the mire of degradation from which they cannot extricate themselves.

The reasoning faculties are developed by TRUTH and are destroyed by FALSITY.

Therefore, it is necessary that this seed of TRUTH be planted in fertile soil of untainted minds germinated from honest, intelligent people so that a harvest of master intellects may grow up capable of carrying forward to its goal the super-work mapped out for man by his CREATOR as outlined in the following chapters of this, the second book of Lawsonomy.
