fering infants to die for the want of it; he has not only robbed the poor old people of their homes and furniture and let them die like rats in the gutter; he not only pounces upon the widows and orphans as soon as you husbands die and takes everything that you leave them; but he is going to take your country—the United States of America—away from you and make of you such degraded slaves as never lived on earth before.
 He has got you tied up in a web and is tying you up tighter and tighter. You are now entangled in that web so that with every wiggle on your part the financier ties you up tighter. And you, the once proud Americans whose forefathers fought so valiantly for freedom have now lost it and you don’t know it. You are doing as you are told by the alien financier.
 Every movement that you make, from the moment you get out of your bed in the morning until you go to your bed at night, is made according to what the alien financier has told you to do and you don’t even know it. You are running along without knowing where you are going. He is driving you into blind alleyways and traps where he can slaughter you like sheep; where he can gas you; where he can do anything he likes with you if you don’t crawl to him.
 Don’t forget that. It is the truth. If ever truth was given the American people before, that is the truth. You are in your last stages of freedom.
 The financier has got you fighting among yourselves as he always gets the people to do when he wants to steal what they produce. If he couldn’t make the American people fight among themselves, he couldn’t steal Amer­i­ca.
 But you fight among yourselves like cats and dogs. He sets you to fighting in the pit as these dog demons do. He gets you there and says, “Now, go at one another. Chew each other up,” and you do. You whip each other and therefore whip yourselves. You must learn to stop whipping each other.
 What has the alien financier done to Amer­i­cans in the last ten years? He has stolen seventy-five per cent of your properties. He has taken away from the American manufacturers over two hundred thousand factories. He has taken away from the Amer­i­can merchants over three million stores. He has taken away from the Amer­i­can farmers over three million farms. He has taken away from the working men over six million homes. He has practically taken away three-quarters of the wealth from the American people, and he is continuing to do it, and you don’t stop him. You help him do it. You whip each other and he takes your properties.
 He gets a great, big, strong bully who has more physique than brain power, and he says to him, “That weak woman, ninety years old, living over there, has the home I want. Now, go and throw her out ot that house.”
 So the big, overpowering beast puts that poor, old, feeble woman out of her home and says, “This house belongs to the financier. Get out.”
