advising farmers what was best
for them to do in a financial way. LABOR ORGANIZATIONS? The first years of my life found me a laborer. I sold newspapers and blacked boots for a living as a child. Worked in a furniture factory, in a stave factory, in a carpet factory, in a foundry and as a house painter and farmer. Then traveled all over the world as a coatmaker and, being stranded in Australia as a young man, had to work my way back to America as a common sailor. In my book, “BORN AGAIN,” copyrighted in 1904, I stood squarely back of the laboring classes as against the Swindling Classes. But during the quarter century I mingled with, and did business with big financiers, I learned that they have agents who act as go-betweens and who will not permit the top leaders of Labor Organizations to publicly announce that INTEREST must be abolished. POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS? Although I have never taken an active part in politics, still I have had exceptional opportunities to study how the political game is played. While building up the Aircraft Industry and Airlines, I was invited. to Washington and the White House many times to meet the different Presidents of the United States, as well as to meet the different Cabinet Officials, United States Senators, Congress- men and men in all walks of life who make, administer and interpret the laws of this country. So, in making a complete study of the American political setup, I discovered that every party, both conservative and radical is influenced by agents of the financiers. In 1919. after I had invented, designed, built and flown the first airliner from Milwaukee to Washington, a picture was taken of a group of U. S. Senators and other high officials including the Secretary of War, and myself, at which time a financier said to me. “The Senator who stands next to you is to be the next President of the United States.” Sure enough, a year later, true to the financier’s statement, the Senator was nominated and elected President of the United States of America. PUBLISHERS’ ASSOCIATIONS? Well, I devoted several years to publishing magazines, newspapers and books, and I can truthfully say that I know of no publishers’ organizations that are not either controlled, throttled or influenced by Financiers. SOLDIERS’ ORGANIZATIONS, PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS and EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS are all dominated by agents of the financiers. It is these touts who are stationed in the key positions of all organizations that cause the people to fight each other and whip themselves. If the people will refuse to listen to the touts who betray them they will not whip themselves and the whole of the wealth produced by the farmers, manufacturers, mer- |
