minds grow fat off of them. They think of nothing. The dead PAST, with its ancient gossip and monster liars, is milk and honey to them.
 There are about a thousand NEVER-THINKS to one SELDOM-THINK and about a million NEVER-THINKS to one EVER­THINK.
 The EVER-THINKS are the forerunners of all human progress.
 The SELDOM-THINKS become the masters of PRESENT human affairs and are the chief custodians of the mess pots.
 The NEVER-THINKS are the ignorant drags upon hunian progress who frolic away their lives when their stomachs are stuck out with food supplies and their mental machinery is doped with narcotics and poisonous beverages. They flop themselves around at night dances like chickens with their heads off, not knowing whence they are sprawling to. The PAST with its yarns from the grave yards causes the only mental disturbances that agitate them.
 However, it appears necessary for Nature to use these three classes of GO-AHEADS, STANDSTILLS and DRAW-BACKS during this low stage of man’s development in order to keep progress from speeding up too fast, for, if all classes were as fore-sighted as the EVER-THINKS, then no job would get finished, because each new plan started would become obsolete before it was completed.
 Natural Economic Law, therefore, decrees that the UTILIZATION OF EVERYTHING WITHOUT THE LOSS OF ANYTHING must be conducted through an inter-absorbent process that requires time for its accomplishment.
 The Law of MANEUVERABILITY also requires various grades of creatures for its system of promotion and demotion for good or bad service.
 But, there is a great future in store for mankind and, if all three classes of human beings will perform their different duties unselfishly and work together as one whole body for the common good of the human race then success will finally crown their co-operative efforts.
 There is nothing to prevent the NEVER-THINKS from becoming EVER-THINKS if they will only acquire the habit of looking forward instead of looking backward. They would become wonders if they could look as far forward as they now look backward and see into the FUTURE as far as they can now see into the PAST.
 There is, however, very little hope of the SELDOM-THINKS ever looking forward because they have already reached the STAND-STILL stage of thinking and believe that they have acquired all knowledge extant and that there is nothing more to be learned. They are the HIGH-JINKS of smart-alickism
 Now, there is an extremely large work that Nature has laid out for the human race to do in the FUTURE that cannot be performed if the people at large are going to stand still in their self-satisfied tracks as SELDOM-THINKS or go backward with notions of the stupid PAST as NEVER-THINKS.
