A solid piece of steel will not float in water, but a basin made of steel that will encompass a certain quantity of air will float in water.

It is the combination of air enclosed by steel that displaces a certain quantity of water and causes a balance to exist between them that causes a steel structure to float in water.

The steel is of greater density than water and therefore requires the aid of air that is of a lesser density than water to give it the balance necessary to float in water.

A solid piece of wood will not float in air, but a wooden frame enclosed by a silk covering, the interior of which is filled with gas will float in air.

It is the combination of gas enclosed by a wooden frame covered by silk that displaces a certain quantity of air and causes a balance to exist between them that causes the wooden structure to float in air.

The wood is of greater density than air and therefore requires the aid of gas that is of lesser density than air to give it the balance necessary to float in air.

Solid stone and metal will not float in ether; but a globe with a crust of stone and metal and its interior filled with a substance of lesser density than ether will float in ether.

It is the combination of the substance of lesser density than ether enclosed by the crust of stone and metal that displaces a certain quantity of ether and causes a balance to exist between them that causes the stone and metal globe to float in ether.

A steel hull must be balanced by air to float in water; a wooden frame with silk covering must be balanced by gas to float in air; and the stone and metal crust surrounding the Earth must be balanced by a substance of lesser density than ether to be able to float in ether.

The steel hull of a ship could not be kept afloat in water if it were filled with water.

The wooden frame and silk covering of a dirigible could not be kept afloat in air if filled with air.

Neither could the stone and metal crust of the Earth be kept afloat in ether if it were filled with ether.

So a substance of lesser density than ether must fill the interior of the Earth to enable it to float in ether. So I shall call that substance of lesser density than ether, Lesether.

All formations must be balanced with the substance in which they are immersed in order to have stability.

The Earth with its solid covering of stone and metal, as well as the heavy water and air that surrounds it, is given stability and the ability to float in the substance of lesser density, ether, by the bottling up within its crust the still lesser density that I have named Lesether.

So in this way the Earth is enabled to move majestically around the Sun once a year in a current of ether that is controlled by the Sun.

It must not be understood that the Earth is filled with lesether as a spherical balloon is filled with gas. That is not the case.

The gas within a spherical balloon soon wastes itself away by passing out of the pores of the covering, and the covering being heavier than air it falls back to solid earth.

The Earth, however, has been floating in a current of ether around the Sun for thousands of centuries.

Such constant balance can only be maintained by constant renewal of lesether wasted by the Earth and this renewal can only be obtained by a method of drawing new substances into the Earth from without and generating lesether within the Earth.

Continually drawing new substances in from without for generating purposes makes necessary a means to evacuate the waste materials from within.

So an interior organization of various functions is necessary to draw in by Suction new substances and squeeze out by Pressure waste matter.

A center of Suction and Pressure or a pumping station is arranged for this purpose in the center of the Earth.

To prepare and assimilate the new substances which are converted into lesether to give balance to the Earth as well as to store it up and keep it at a certain standard of efficiency, other internal organs are necessary. Machinery is also required to pass off waste matter properly.

Internal Pressure must be maintained to equal external Pressure.

If internal Pressure should be overdeveloped the Earth would explode, and if internal Pressure was underdeveloped the Earth would be crushed by external Pressure.

In order that the Earth may be properly braced from within and be able to absorb any shocks that might be caused by external cosmic action a complete interior anatomy is arranged for that purpose.

The chief point of ingress for new substances to enter is located at the North End of the Earth, although substances are also drawn in through pores which extend all over the crust of the Earth.

The chief point of egress for waste matter is at the South End of the Earth, although waste matter is also ejected through pores of the crust of the Earth as well, and at times by volcanic eruptions.

The new substances drawn into the Earth by Suction for sustenance are supplied directly by the Sun in currents of various density and also by solid substances which are drawn into the Solar System, such as meteors and other cosmic debris which are dissolved into gases by contact with the atmosphere of the Earth.

Science will eventually learn that the mysterious Aurora Borealis is caused by the transformation of extraneous substances into digestible gases for ingress at the North Pole and that the Aurora Australis is the effect of discharged gases from the South Pole.

A central core extends from the North Pole to the South Pole from which arteries and veins branch out to all parts of the interior of the Earth and extend right to its crust.

The entire structure of the Earth is fed with new life-giving substances which pass in currents through arteries, while currents passing through veins carry away the waste substances.

There is no other way that the Earth could maintain equilibrium and life for such a long period than that which I have outlined.

Of course the Earth had a beginning and will have an end. It begun with a swirl and a rush of certain substances toward a vacuum or space with lesser density than the substances trying to enter it. They were never able to reach the center of the vacuum, but in trying to do so they were organized into conflicting swirls which produced a reaction, or pressure from within which equaled the pressure from without, and the vacuum held the whole mass intact as a swirling body. Gradually a systematic organization was effected and a more or less settled state came into being. A mass covering of the body as a protection resulted.

Little by little external Pressure squeezes the Earth inward and little by little the vacuum within loses its power of Suction to draw within sufficient quantities of new life-giving substances to create internal Pressure to equally offset external Pressure.

Every time an earthquake takes place it is mournful evidence of the fact that external Pressure has made another encroachment upon the Earth and is gradually gaining the mastery over its power of Suction. It shows that the Earth is no longer expanding or growing as it did in its youthful state, but is gradually shrinking with age.

No matter how slight this shrinking may be, nevertheless the Earth will continue to shrink, shrink, shrink away and finally—a few billion years from now—there will be no Earth left for man to live upon.
