CHAPTER 40
SCIENCE LOOKS FORWARD BUT STANDS BACKWARD
Under the label of SCIENCE man has made some forward strides in constructive mechanics and chemical activities during the past century.
But the difference between Lawson’s mighty lessons and those of the scientists are:
Lawson’s lessons consist of the entire plan of CREATION as made known to him by the sublime CREATOR HIMSELF and are positive and Eternal.
Whereas, the Scientists’ lessons consist of a series of questionable theories that occasionally lead them to small materialistic advancements.
Therefore, Alfred Lawson was enabled to prove his statements according to the Creator’s positive principles while the materialistic Scientists stumbled along with their theoretical small parts program that was usually based upon acquiring murderous instruments of annihilating man made machinery that would produce individual wealth for themselves.
Therefore, by permitting his SOUL to guide his mind and physical, mental, moral and spiritual actions, developed within Alfred Lawson a most powerful consciousness that was able to analyze and instruct others in the Creator’s Eternal works as a whole, while the scientists groped about in the darkness of selfishness for the crumbs of materialistic knowledge.
Alfred Lawson studied life and everything pertaining thereto, from GOD’S works down, whereas scientists, as a rule, study life from their own selfish interests up.
For instance: Alfred Lawson wrote the book CREATION and permitted publishers to read it in 1924 for the purpose of having it published, that all mankind could be benefited thereby.
Well, because Alfred Lawson proved how the entire machinery of unlimited Space was operated by a greater power than man, that would obliterate entirely a large number of their small pet theories and thus throw out of gear their materialistic machinery the publishers refused to give it to the people for their consideration and judgment.
Now, a quarter of a century later, when present day scientists are catching up to Alfred Lawson’s previous copyrighted statements, it will prove interesting to his millions of followers to read what one honest publisher had to say about that book at that time.
Here are his exact words; GOD bless him.
G. P. PUTNAM’S SONS
2 West 45th Street, New York
March 13th, 1924
Dear Mr. Lawson:
I am sorry to say that we are not prepared to make a publishing offer for your “Lawson Law of Movement.” As I told you the other day, a theory as revolutionary as yours is of course damned by the scientists, and as a result the public, who values the opinions of the scientists, are reluctant to purchase copies of a book of which the “authorities“ disapprove, and commercially, therefore, publication of revolutionary scientific theories are seldom wise.
Aside from the commercial side, your manuscript does not convince me that your theory is sound, and I could not, with a clear conscience, recommend its acceptance to our Publishing Board.
I am very much obliged for the opportunity of reading it and I am sorry to have to report adversely.
Yours very truly,
PUTNAM.
Alfred W. Lawson, Esq.
Well, there was a publisher that actually told the truth.
A QUARTER OF A CENTURY HAS PASSED SINCE THIS LETTER
Theories of scientists, having no proof of fact, are changeable. Statements by Alfred Lawson, based upon constant provable laws, are knowledge and unalterable. Study Lawsonomy and find out for yourself.
His letter should be read over thoughtfully by all progressive students.
But the book “Creation,“ which he submitted to publishers in 1924, Lawson published and copyrighted at his own expense in 1931 and he has lived to learn that many scientists have absorbed much of it for their own utilization since.
Within the fifty Educational books and hundreds of short Educational articles and Editorials that he has written, together with the masterful knowledge diffused through his thousands of public speeches, Alfred Lawson has enlarged the storehouse of intellectual mankind beyond the powers of present day appreciation. It is so vast and enlightening that much of it will have to be left for posterity to appreciate.
