CHAPTER 30
FALSITY OPPOSES TRUTH
The opposite of truth is falsity.
Truth is knowledge and falsity is ignorance.
In one of Lawson’s many speeches he said:
“Truth is that which is, falsity is that which ain’t.”
In order to build up in man a strong character the Menorgs must have truth to do it with. They must know that which is, not that which ain’t.
By and through the senses the Menorgs educate man in the realities of life so that he may obtain knowledge that will enable him to proceed with the greater plans that GOD has mapped out for him.
But men have introduced false plans to the people during the past for their own self-aggrandizement and thus have established falsity in the place of truth.
Through the general acceptance of these false plans man’s progress has been retarded to a large degree and he is now paying a horrible penalty for going contrary to God’s Law.
Falsity has brought man down to such a deplorable state that the people cannot believe anything that anybody says.
So-called civilization has been instrumental in breeding a race of liars whom nobody can believe or trust. The world is now over-run with liars, cheats, thieves, beggars, drunkards, dope-fiends, kidnappers, murderers and suicides because falsity has supplanted truth.
The morality and mentality of the human race is now rotting away. The Disorgs within man have gotten the upper hold of him, and he is now near a state of collapse.
The people are being taught that it is smart to lie and misrepresent things for gain.
Worse, the people are becoming a race of lie carriers.
Whatever they read or hear they repeat to others. The people go about with their minds filled with lies that others have told and tell them to everyone who will listen to them.
So, with their minds stuffed with lies, there is no room left for the truth, which makes impossible their development to a higher state of intelligence.
So prevalent has become falsity, that parents lie to their own children, even when there is no gain for doing it. They relate lies about ghosts and Santa Claus and all sorts of other things that don’t exist. Then they wonder why their children grow up to be liars themselves.
Pity the poor children whose minds are fed with falsity to such an extent that they can never be able to recognize the truth if it is spoken.
The Menorgs on the inside of the body must receive the correct impressions of things that happen on the outside of the body, and for that purpose have constructed such instruments as the eyes, ears, nostrils, mouth and feelings for man to use. But if these instruments are to be adopted as communicants for false information instead of facts, then the Menorgs have been giving their efforts in vain for millions of years, toward the development of a man of reason.
One does not have to argue about truth, it proves itself.
The stuff taught human beings as theory during the past has almost ruined the reasoning faculties of everybody.
